Healed, Not Hidden: Your Story Matters

Image
Google Image There's something powerful about healing.  But there's also something sacred about the journey to healing.  And far too often, once we're whole again or at least walking stronger, taller, or bolder, we're tempted to hide the parts of us that broke, bled, and bruised. But, my sister and brother, can I encourage you today?  You are healed, but you are not meant to be hidden. Healing Was Never Just for You When Jesus healed the demon-possessed man in Luke 8, He didn't tell him to go home and stay quiet. Instead, Jesus said,  "Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you." (Luke 8:39, NKJV) Your healing is a testimony , not just a gift for you, but a lifeline for someone else still in the storm. God didn't bring you through to have you sit in silence. He brought you through so that someone else can see what victory looks like. Broken Doesn't Mean Useless Maybe you've walked through a season of brokenn...

Bridging the Gap: Connecting People to Christ, Not Building Walls

Image
Google Image In a world quick to divide and label, Christians are called to build bridges , not walls. Too often, the Church is seen as exclusive, judgmental, or disconnected from the very people Jesus came to save. But Christ Himself was the ultimate bridge-builder, crossing social, cultural, and spiritual divides to bring people into the Kingdom of God. The Mission: Reach, Not Retreat The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20 NKJV) is not a call to separation but to engagement : “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” Jesus didn’t tell us to build closed communities that push others out. He told us to go, connect, and disciple, meeting people where they are, just as He did. ⚠️ Important Note: Building bridges does not mean compromising truth or excusing sin. Jesus loved people where they were, but He never left them there. He called them to repentance and transformation (John 8:11). As believers, we’re ...

Covered, Called, & Confident

Image
Google Images My sister, Laura, reminded me of this during one of our conversation. One thing about our God is that He never goes back on what He has declared or decreed. Stand firm on the Word of God. What He has spoken over your life will come to pass. Believe it, walk in it, and don’t waver. If the enemy has a problem with it, that’s his issue not yours. He can take it up with your Father. And if others don’t agree with what God has called you to do, let them talk to Him about it. You don’t need their permission when you already have God’s approval. You are  covered, called, and confident  because you belong to the King. I hope this brings you as much blessing as it has brought me. Say it With Me: I Am Covered Affirmation: I am covered by the blood of Jesus and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV) – “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn...” Affirmation: God's presence sur...

He Will Reveal and Shield

Image
Thank You, Holy Ghost. One thing about our God is that He will reveal and He will shield. Knowing that God is both our revealer and our protector gives us comforting assurance. In His wisdom, He uncovers hidden truths about ourselves, others, and even the spiritual battles we may not see. He shines light into the darkness not to shame us but to guide us. Yet, He doesn’t stop at revelation. God also shields us. He covers us with grace, guards our hearts from harm, and protects us from dangers seen and unseen. Like a loving Father, He shows us what we need to know while surrounding us with His divine protection. As we walk through life, may we trust Him to reveal what we need and to shield us through it all. Scripture Reflection: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.”  Psalm 84:11 (NKJV) Say it With Me: God is my light and protector. I am covered by God's grace and destined for H...
